A British expat living in Dubai for over a decade, Ellis Harwood brings a unique blend of creativity, wellness, and heartfelt insight to her writing. With a professional background spanning more than ten years in PR and Marketing across the fashion, wellness, and hospitality industries, she has always been passionate about storytelling and meaningful connections. Now a full-time Pilates instructor and certified Doula, she balances her love for movement and motherhood while raising her two young children, Frida and Heston.

Her lifelong love for writing found new depth after becoming a mother, when she began to truly understand the transformative power of emotional connection. Deeply inspired by The Five Love Languages, a concept she first encountered when she got married, she later recognised how profoundly relevant it is to parenting. Her work now focuses on helping parents better understand and nurture their children by identifying and speaking their unique love languages, ensuring every child’s emotional cup is full.
